Sea Turtles in the Gulf of Mexio
Loggerhead sea turtles have been spotted
frequently along the beaches of 30A.
During nesting-season, you can spot their
tracks on the sand as well as little flags/small
fenced in area to protect the eggs by local
wildlife-angels.
They can weigh up to 300lbs.
That's incredible. They're HUGE!!
Sea turtles lay up to 100 eggs during one
nesting. The eggs take up to 60
days to hatch.
On average, only a few make it to
adulthood.
The eggs are in great danger even
hidden under the sand.
Hungry racoons or other starving
animals can easily bust them before
they get to the ocean.
(oooh my goodness...look how cute)
Even when they do hit the ocean,
they still have to dodge sharks, crabs,
birds and other predators.

Watersound Beach
Roxy and I took a lunch break and got
our legs moving on a stroll in Watersound Beach.
Took a few pictures along the way...
This amazing clean and family friendly
gated community is close to Seaside and
Rosemary Beach.
Here you can play putt-putt golf,
bike, lots of trails for everyone, play tennis,
swim in the many different pools, visit the
post office or even grab a snack at the cafe.
(I highly recommend their salads)

Not a cloud in the sky on this Tuesday.
Fall isn't quite here yet, there are still
people sunbathing and splashing in
the Gulf. 80 degrees with a slight breeze.
The view is outta sight...
Although the pictures came out great,
you just have to be seeing it w/your own
two eyes to judge the scenery...
No dissapointments here.
Hope your Tuesday is as pretty as this.

Seaside Yardsale
Treasures galore....
Last Saturday, this was the happening spot for any local,
excited tourist and four-legged furry pals.
The vendors were selling neat umbrellas, cute kids clothes,
jewlery, purses, paintings, comforters for prices that not even
your local thrift store could beat, food, reef sandals and sanuk
shoes for $15. WOAH.
It was so fun to mingle with everyone.
Really neat community gathering. If you weren't there,
there will always be a next time!!
